Who You Are: You understand the importance and value of personal finance education. You acknowledge that students must learn to manage money, create budgets, and build good credit habits to become financially secure adults in the "real world". You are committed to improving financial education in your community and providing your students with the Gold Standard in personal finance education.

Who We Are: Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF), a non-profit, is a passionate team of educators delivering free personal finance curriculum, professional development, and advocacy support to over 24,000 teachers nationwide. Our Mission: 2030 is simple: that by the year 2030, ALL high school students will take a one-semester personal finance course before graduating.

2020 Summit Details

When: 5pm Friday, March 13 - 3pm Sunday, March 15, 2020
Where: JW Marriott Hotel, San Francisco CA
Cost: Roundtrip transportation to the conference hotel in San Francisco ONLY. The rest of the weekend, including accommodation and meals, will be underwritten by NGPF. (Limited, partial travel scholarships available)
What to Expect During the Summit: Join us for a weekend of networking and collaborating. You'll have the opportunity to plan and put into action how you will achieve the Gold Standard in your school or district over the next ~18 months.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be current US high school personal finance teachers.
• Participate in all sessions during the 1 1/2 day professional development including a Welcome Dinner on Friday, March 13. The Summit will conclude at 3pm on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
• Submit a completed application by November 22, 2019.
