The Financial Literacy Progress & Efficacy Assessment
A free assessment offered by Penn State Behrend and NGPF
How to Administer Assessment
Before you administer the assessment, start with the pre-assessment work which includes taking the teacher survey. Once you take the survey, you will have access to the Class ID you will use for the pre and post assessment. You will provide this Class ID to your students when they take the pre and post assessment.
Assessment results will be updated on a weekly basis. You will be able to download the reports under “My Assessment Results” below. Please keep in mind that you will not immediately get your student’s results, especially if you need the results at the end of your course.
Pre-Assessment Work
When you are ready to start, click “Take Teacher Survey.” This survey will take a couple of minutes to complete. You will only need to take the survey once per semester/trimester/quarter, regardless of how many sections of the course you may teach.
You will also need to click “Generate Student ID Sheet Template”. This spreadsheet will help you keep track of student results. Since the assessment is designed to not collect student information, students will use the student ID number you assign to them.
